The Bank of New York Opens New Private Banking Offices in White Plains and Bronxville
NEW YORK, May 2, 2007 -– The Bank of New York, a leader in wealth management, has opened new private banking offices in White Plains and Bronxville, making it the only organization in Westchester County to offer a full range of investment management, fiduciary and private banking services through fully-staffed local offices. Together, the offices employ 50 professionals with expertise in a wide variety of disciplines, including portfolio management, financial estate and tax planning, and fiduciary and banking services.

The state-of-the-art private banking office in White Plains is located at 701 Westchester Avenue near a number of major transportation routes, making it easily accessible from most areas of Westchester and Rockland Counties and the Hudson Valley region. Bronxville
The Bronxville facility is located at 111 Kraft Avenue, a historic building located at the train station. The Bank of New York’s presence in Bronxville dates back to its predecessor Gramatan National Bank and Trust Company, which was founded in 1906 and constructed the Kraft Avenue building in 1912. Plans are being developed to rehabilitate this prominent building, which continues to be a focal point in Bronxville's business district.
